The work permit, made understandable.

Some non-EU students need a TWV before working for an employer. We help coordinate the information and steps. The employer remains responsible for the hire, and UWV decides on the permit.

Who is Permit Work for?

We focus on non-EU students studying in the Netherlands who are looking for work alongside their studies. Your individual residence status and work conditions need to be checked before employment.

What happens after I apply?

We review your profile and get in touch to understand your experience, preferences and availability. When there is a suitable opportunity, we discuss it with you before an introduction.

Why do you need my CV?

Your CV helps us understand your studies, experience and skills. It is a starting point for our conversation, not the whole picture.

Do I have to pay?

No. Students do not pay Permit Work for recruitment and matching.

Does applying guarantee a job?

No. A match depends on the available roles, your profile and the employer’s selection. We won’t promise an opportunity before there is a real fit.

What is a TWV?

A TWV is a Dutch work permit. Students with a Dutch study residence permit generally need their employer to obtain one before paid employment. Permit Work helps coordinate the steps; UWV makes the decision.

Can I ask for help after I start?

Yes. We stay in touch about your role, hours and workplace experience, so you have someone to speak to if expectations or next steps feel unclear.
